Bedbugs are small, ovoid, brown insects that live on the blood of humans and animals alike. Adult bedbugs have flattish bodies roughly the size of an apple seed. After feeding, however, their bodies swell and are a reddish colour due to being filled with blood.
While luckily fleas aren’t big enough to be easily seen, the effects of their presence are pretty easy to see. Every pet owner has experienced the battle against fleas at one point or another. While we can get frustrated with the presence of fleas or the effects of their infestation, we have to remember that the ones who suffer the most are our pets. By observing your pets behaviour you will be able to tell when they are trying to let you know that there is a problem.
